Positive: The location and the fact that I would have a parking space were the deciding factors in choosing this room. However, it was our host, Monika, who truly made us feel at home.
The room itself, with a private bathroom, was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, offering every amenity one could need. A delightful breakfast was waiting for us outside our door at the morning. Monika is incredibly friendly and genuinely cares for her guests. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely return!
Negative: None
Summary: Brilliant stay!

Positive:
Although the room is small, it has what is needed the most - a comfortable bed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with dinner suggestions. We ate our take-out meal next to their little pond which was very pleasant.
Negative:
We needed more room to spread out our belongings without putting them on the floor. A trunk was covered in brochures and would have been better used if we could have used it to unpack. The breakfast was a bit too basic and small.
Summary: One night - comfortable room

Positive:
The hosts were friendly and helpful, Monika recommended a lovely restaurant and booked us in. Monika's partner also helped with the room facilities. The bathroom was nice. We were able to park outside the property.
Negative:
We like to have two pillows each but had three between us, we used spoons to spread the butter and preserves at breakfast as we weren't provided with knives. Some cereals and fruit could be added to the breakfast.
Summary: Gartenzimmer b&b Rubigen.
